Commissioning Community Champions: Lessons from a pandemic

A new report from The King’s Fund explores the development of community champions programmes during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research sought to describe the scale and diversity of programmes and associated learning, with the opportunity to inform the parameters of any future evaluation.

Altogether Better began life in 2008 when we were established to design and develop the first Community Health Champions programme in the country so it is fascinating to explore this report in light of our own experience working with many thousands of champoins around the country over the past 16 years.
